Wow, what a great year it has been! We have been so blessed and I am so grateful for all that we have. I am so excited for what 2012 has in store for us. Hopefully it can slow down a little, but that is wishful thinking. Maybe I will have less projects? ( I am sure James would like that ..as he is doing some right now.)

This New Years was the quietest one yet. It started off early with getting our power fixed by LiveWire ( Since we had half of our house with power) Thank goodness we had a great electrician come since the problem almost caught our house on fire! We had plans for the night but then they canceled, and it was probably a good thing since I decided to repaint and redo half our house. So I painted all day. James was able to have some fun time with the kids, and then we enjoyed some pizza and a movie. I was in bed by ten and so were the kids.

Wow, where does time go.
I have been looking through pictures a lot lately and I can't believe how fast the time goes. It makes me really think about the things I am doing, and what I want to be spending my valuable time on. Maybe thats why I haven't been blogging much? No that's not the real excuse :)

For the next 5 days, James took off so we can get some big projects done around the house! I can't wait! We have been working on Emerson's room - an ongoing project. But, since winter is right around the corner - and I HATE the cold (unless I am skiing in it). We are making his room so we will love being in it ALL day!

So lots of pictures to come! And, I will catch up on all the past blogposts....but I figure I should concentrate on the future...or I will never get caught up!

Well, James has never flown with Emerson and this time we got to fly with 2 kids under 2! We were lucky to get a direct flight to Cleveland, we had bags filled with goodies and things for Emerson to do...but we got on the plane last so there wasn't really room for our stuff to be near us.

* We did get to the airport 2 hours early, it took awhile to get through security with 2 kiddos and a bunch of stuff then we had to get to the furthest part of the airport and the elevator didn't work, so we took the stroller and carseat up the escalator! Then ran to catch our flight :)

Now we are enjoying Ohio, spending time with family and keeping busy ! Make sure to check back for lots of new posts!!

The Evergreen Fair

We weren't planning on going to the fair this year, but really wanted to go. So, we had James dad over for dinner and he said he really wanted to go to the fair and needed someone to go with him since he just had a stroke.... So we ended up going!!

It seriously was my favorite time at the fair, and I have had a lot of good times at the fair { since I grew up doing 4-H and being at the fair yearly.} I really know why they say being a mom is the best thing ever!! It brings me so much joy to see my kids happy, and at the moment Emerson can truly show his emotions!Zoe not so much...but she enjoyed all the people watching,and had lots of people come up to her and tell her how cute she was ( I almost thought she was an attraction with how many people came up to her)Going to the fair it was Emerson's first time going on the rides (Yes he is a large 20 month old already 36 inches) He seriously had so much fun and it was so fun watching him go on the roller coaster with his dad, and the car ride by himself,and the merry go round! Once he got in his little car he was just light up! We thought he was going to be scared since he was by himself, but he didn't want it to stop!

His new favorite food is corndogs - and yes he had one at the fair!

He got to try an elephant ear - and loved it!

He got a big turtle from the balloon popping game - james won him.

He got to see a pig race - which he loved.

He got to see animals - and he tried to make the noises.

All in all he loved the fair!!

Well Life has been super busy? Who would have guessed!! We have been enjoying life to the fullest with our little kiddos, working, keeping up on the house, spending time with family and friends and fitting in a few vacations!!

Now, we are on a little break in Ohio - so instead of being super busy working and blogging away, I am going to take some much needed time to catch up on this blog!!

Instead of staring from where I left off, I am going to go backwards in time!! READY!!!!

Levenworth and Tree Lighting!

Each year we like to go to Leavenworth for the Tree Lighting and to do some sledding! Last year we weren't able to go since we were awaiting Emerson to be born! So this year was fun taking Emerson!

Our friends Maggie and Casey invited us to come stay at her parents house in Cashmere! It is such a cute little house filled with love! Emerson had so much fun going up and down their stairs, and he had so much fun with his friend Axel!

After a day of relaxing, and enjoying ALL the snow!! We went into Leavenworth, and it there was so much snow and people we just missed the tree lighting! So instead, we tried to eat at my favorite restraunt Andrea's Keller, but the wait was way too long with 3 little kids in tow. So we packed up and met at the grocery store to get some snacks! The only problem, there was so much snow we almost got stuck ( James won't ever admit to ever almost getting stuck) But when 2 guys have to push you out...I would think so!

He sure liked being inside away from the snow in the grocery store!

So instead of the german food...we went and got mexican!

Emerson liked trying the limes!

We got back, Emerson wanted to be in the snow...but it was time for bed!

The next day, we did some antiquing while the boys watched some games.
Then we went and picked up the boys and kids and went to Sonic!

After we got back from Sonic, we said our goodbyes and headed into Leavenworth to do some sledding and went to the tree lighting!

Emerson sure liked to sled!

I absolutely love Traditions!!!

Decorating the Tree! With Candles and All!
I love to decorate the house the day after Thanksgiving! And I can never wait to get a tree! Growing up we always had candles and a pickle on our tree, and that is one tradition I still keep! ( We just don't light the candles now)

Here is one tradition my aunt Betty started and shared with my family!
Christopher Pop-in-kins
The story behind them are that right after Thanksgiving Santa sends them to your home and they watch to make sure your kids are being good. Then at night they go back to the North Pole and report back to Santa and tell them how the kids are doing. The next day your elf returns and he is also in a different hiding spot (you hide them some place else each day and your kids look for him). But, the kids can't touch him or he might lose his magic powers.

Then one we always did growing up, is the Advent Wreath and Advent Calender!
The Advent Wreath Adventskranz is set up on the first Advent Sunday (the fourth before Christmas) to start off the Advent season. You gather around the wreath on each Advent Sunday to light the next candle and sing Christmas carols and read stories.I love this tradition because it draws you closer together as a family. We also got Emerson a book called Jingle with a dog that barks to read each Sunday, so he has something fun too!

Then St.Nicholas Day (Sankt Nikolaus) is the night of the 5th
The kids put out their boot on the night of the 5th, and on the morning of the 6th they get their boot filled by St.Nick! This was always a favorite of my brothers and I!

Christmas Tree Farm 2010

For the past 4 years we have gone to the Red Barn Tree Farm in Woodinville! It is always a fun trip! It is so fun to be able to pick your Christmas tree and chop it down yourself! We got a different kind of tree this year, since all the trees we normally get are still growing.

Thanksgiving & Black Friday!!!

Every year for Thanksgiving we go to James sisters house for dinner. Here are a few pics!

Now to my favorite tradition :

BLACK FRIDAY!!!

So this was our second year of going out on Black Friday!!
This year Toys R Us opened early on Thanksgiving so we met at Sam's house and then Beth drove the "VAN" and we went in line at 8pm!!
It was such a great experience at Toys R Us!! We didn't have to wait very long, and we were one of the first in the line! We got in and out and got everything we wanted!!!! It was a great experience!

Next...

We went and parked Marchelle's car at Target, then went and dropped off all our finds at Sam's house! We then went to Denny's for a midnight snack :) Afterwards we went to go wait in line at Target!It was a lot longer wait in line! Thank goodness Beth had her van! We were sitting in line which was nice, we turned the seat around so we can stay warm it was great! Well till it started to rain, get colder, and we had to get out of the van. Once it was 4am it was chaos! People started to cut in line- one guy was so rude, and even harassed Marchelle the whole time we were in the store! We were able to find everything we wanted- it was just not organized well and way too many people in the store!

We got done and went back to Sams house and took a nap break! James dropped Emerson off, and we rested a bit more till Keilah came over and Sam,Beth,the kids and I ran to costco!
It was a fun black friday - but I do think I slept the rest of the day!
It was so nice to get all the rest of the shopping done!!

It snowed in November!! Emerson loves going to the door daily, to bark at the wolf dog across the street and today he had so much fun watching it snow...so we went out to play!

This year was Emerson's first year of trick or treating!
He was having so much fun going door to door, he even knocked on a few doors and grabbed candy out of the bowls!
It was a fun night out! There were a ton of us who went together!

Another Surgery for James

James needed to finish his surgeries to make him sleep and breathe better! So this was the last one! Hopefully he will not get sick every two weeks now, and be able to sleep!

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Every year we go to the The Farm in Snohomish with Sam and Jeremy!
It is such a fun tradition and this year was even more fun with Emerson!
It was his first time here, and I think he had a blast!
We looked at all the animals, watched the pig show, played in the hay, and even took a little cow train ride!
Can I tell you they have the most amazing caramel apples there!!

We are so excited! We wanted to have all of our kids close!! So here goes!

Baby Wagner # 2

This picture is at 9 weeks! Since I have know for awhile ( since I was 3 weeks pregnant) and had plenty of Dr. Appointments! We decided to let everyone know it is official!

Here is first ultrasound picture at 5 weeks 6 days just a tiny little peanut!
We did get to see its heartbeat this early!

Now some background into why I have had so many ultrasounds so early!
This pregnancy, I have felt sick and I have continually prayed to...sounds weird? But it is a blessing to me! I love to be pregnant and count everything that comes along with it to be a blessing, because everything helps prepare us for when the baby comes!

With this pregnancy too we have had our ups and downs, but now we are in the clear - being able to see the heartbeat again and it measuring right on date!

On James birthday, we went in for an early ultrasound (5 weeks 6 days) - since I have been getting my hcg measured every three days and it is to where they want it to be!

When we went in this time, we were expecting to hear great news...instead the nurse let us leave in tears thinking there was no hope...... She kept saying it wasn't what she expected??? But she did say it looked like twins?? ( It isnt)
My Dr wasnt in the office so I had to make an appointment for a few hours later at an ultrasound place! It was the worst thing leaving and having no hope, so I got a blessing of comfort and I just had peace that I knew it would be ok!

So we went to the Ultra Sound place, and we got to see the heart beat and saw that the baby was right were it should have been!! Thank goodness!!

So I talked to the nurse, and then she got me worried again saying they were concerned about the abnormal shaped sac!! UGH!! Just when I thought I was in the clear!
So of course I go home and google ( NEVER GOOGLE)
Of course, nothing I wanted to hear....but then I figured most people don't go in for an ultrasound that early unless there is something wrong...So I got over my worries but still cautious!
So I was leaving on vacation, and was told to take it easy.......

Now you know my happy ending pictured above!

Now what happened with my last pregnancy ( And yes it was planned!)
The only reason I am sharing all of this, is I had never known about it before and I woudn't want anyone to go through it..but if they did I would want them to be aware that it can be a lot worse than what happened to me.

Some people can die, lose one or both tubes.

I am so grateful for my amazing doctor!!!

April 11- I found out we were pregnant on my birthday! I took three tests and was so excited! I didnt tell James just a few close friends!
April 12- Took another 2 pregnancy tests and positive! I took a Emerson and put him in his "Big Bro" shirt- we took a picture got it developed and took him to dad at work- he was so surprised!
April 16th- Went to Sound Womens Care and took a pee test,got an exam, and got bloodwork done.
April 23rd-Did way too much hair all day- got exhausted and started spotting. Called the Dr's office and they said to take it easy and to make sure it dosent get worse, and if it does go to the ER.
April 24- Still spotting
April 25- Called the Emergency Hotline at Sound Womens Care- and the Dr wasnt too concerned - he said if I was still spotting to call on Monday and see Dr. Bourne.
April 26th- Not really spotting too much but called in just to be sure. James was sick so he was able to take me. We went to see Dr. Bourne, and he first did an exam and my cervix was closed which was a good thing. Then he took me to do an ultrasound- and on it he didnt see anything :( He was so good at making it as least painful to hear- he showed us that nothing was there and then he moved on to show us other "parts" and said well it isnt anything to write home about but thats that. James was so in shock- he was expecting it to be ok and nothing wrong. We went to get bloodwork done and then we went home. After being home for a little bit Sam came and took me out of the house so I wouldnt think about it. Dr. Bourne called to tell me my hcg levels were at 145. That day I tried to keep as busy as possible trying not to think about what I just experienced. Later that night my friends brought me flowers and a card- so it helped.
April 27th- I got flowers on my porch and it helped me through the day!
April 28th-Was suppose to get bloodwork done but wasnt up for it.
April 29th- Went to get bloodwork done at hospital no paperwork so headed to sound womens care- since I needed to drop off a card for my Dr.- got paperwork but place was closed ...so to the next day!
April 30th- Dr Appt at Birth & Family for me, then went to get bloodwork done at the hospital. My Dr. is the best! He even called me from home to tell me my results! But ....My hcg level is still at 145???? So 3 options- I am having a really slow miscarriage and I will need a D&C? I have an eptopic pregnancy - and will have to take a pill to get rid of it? Or I am pregnant- just a lot earlier??

Well here is what happened!

Well the next time I went in to get my hcg- we figured they would go down- but my Dr. was yet again baffled- they went up even more! They were almost at 300 ( the dr thought I either was really early in my pregnancy since I should have been in the thousands at 7-8 weeks or that I was having an ectopic)

That day the dr. rushed me in to stevens radia where they specialize in ultrasounds...they did a vaginal ultrasound and wouldnt tell me what they saw- they told my dr.

I had an appt. with my dr. and then he told me and showed me that my stomach was full of blood and he was able to show me where it was an ectopic pregnancy.

He told me how rare it was for me to have an ectopic pregnancy - since I never had problems with my fallopian tube, or had clamidia or endomitriosis.

We rushed to take care of the ectopic pregnancy- I had two options surgery or an anti cancer shot. Since my numbers were so low the anti cancer shot (methotrexate) was the best way to go.

So to start out celebrating James birthday we went to Claim Jumper with our great friends Sam, Jeremy and Emersons little buddy Landon!

The next morning we woke up and finished up packing, to go on a 3 day camping trip with our friends Kilee and Soren, and their little man Easton!

It was Kilee's birthday weekend too! So she got a package right before she left that she had to bring along!

Today is the day where I got to fly out to Spokane,
to meet the amazing ladies of The Coupon Posse'
It was such a fun day to spend with them, and I am so greatful for the opportunity to join them!!

So now I said goodbye to my blog! Here is what I wrote.....

So, when I started this blog I started it to help my friends and family. I never knew the magnitude of people I would touch. It is amazing, the friendships I have made just through starting the blog with so many of you readers. I truly enjoy all the comments, and emails that I receive.

A few weeks ago, I took a moment to reflect on my life. This blog has literally consumed it and I haven't been able to be the wife, mother, and friend that I have wanted to. That day I emailed The Coupon Posse', to see if they would be willing to accept one more person on their blog.( They have such an amazing blog, and do great posts so everyone including the beginner can understand.) We have spent a lot of time talking, and I even flew to meet them yesterday and we decided I would join them in posting.

I didn't want to leave all of you readers, and for me to join The Coupon Posse' you will be able to have great posts all day, without it consuming my life.

I hope everyone understands my decision and follows me to The Coupon Posse'.

Since Emerson's Birthday is in December and so close to Christmas, I wanted to start a tradition of having a 1/2 Birthday!! So of course I had to go all out!! I was so appreciative of all our friends and family who were good sports and came and celebrated!!!

May was full of many ups and downs, but we had some great weather to help us through! We worked on the house and on the yard, started some new projects! Crazy we have been in our house for a year now!!

James spent a ton of time in here- he has learned how to be quite the handy man! We had a friend do the plumbing- and helped put up a false wall! James got to learn how to do molding, and become a pro at painting since I chose the wrong color yellow the first time! Then we had a little leak through the wall- and James had to take the wall down and re-put it back up...but now it is getting there~ So much more open!!We took down the old cabinets and changed them around and got rid of some! And like the new floors- and there is no more door!

This Month was a funfilled month! Going on vacation to Ohio! Then my Birthday weekend!And lots of couponing and times with friends!The end of the month ended a little rough but it will get better!

We are on our first overnight flight here...Emerson did well he slept the whole time!Then we got to Atlanta and I got Emerson to sleep till we were suppose to get on the next flight but our flight was delayed....then we finally got on or next flight..and it was not too much fun :(

So our February went a lot better than January ended!

Emerson gained weight really quickly in the hospital! He was very worn out from all the stress!

Here is Emerson a few pounds heavier!And ready to leave the hospital!

So February, was filled with lots of doctor appointments- Emerson did really well with eating and soon we didnt have to go to the doctors every three days!

I was able to have a girls night with some friends so it was nice to get out of the house!

Emerson is growing like a weed! He is two months today! I love doing a picture a day so I can see how much he is changing!

Our little scare :(

I decided to make an appointment for Emerson because I didnt feel like he was gaining weight. I took him to the doctor and he was still not up to his birth weight (6 weeks later) The doctor didnt seem to worried, I was just to give him a bottle ( either that I pump or of formula) after he breastfeeds. Then a few days later we were suppose to come back and get his weight checked. Following the appointment he was suppose to get some blood work done... so we went over to Stevens Hospital, I talked to James for a moment but he had to go to work and I needed to bring emerson in. While they were starting to take his blood he was screaming...and James surprised us by coming and he found us by Emerson's scream :) It wasnt too bad, it is just hard to hear them upset.

By the time we got home he was asleep, so I left him in his car seat. James came home to for a minute so we can figure out the formula. He went back to work. While he was at work with a customer, the hospital called and asked to interrupt and speak to James. His boss gave him the message and he excused himself. The Dr that called said that we need to get to Childrens Hospital as soon as possible, they were doing Emerson's blood work and there was something wrong with his kidneys and his electrolytes were off. So James called me and told me not to panic but to have Emerson ready along with all his things. So I had to call Sam to let her know I couldnt do her mom Lisa's hair in a few minutes :(

James got home we rushed to childrens ( with great directions from the VanDykes) When we got to Childrens we tried checking in but no one was notified...so we were freaking out! Finally they figured out that we were suppose to be in the Emergency room...and we were already checked in. As soon as we got to the Emergency room we waited just a few minutes and they had his room ready ( around 3:30pm) They took him in..weighed him..then tried 3 different times to put an IV in! They couldnt get it so someone else came and took his blood again for the second time in one day.

We really didnt know what was going on and if he was ok...and they couldnt say. Around 8pm the doctors came in and said we would be staying the night, and that they were very concerned about his weight and that his liver count was high. But they couldnt say if there was something wrong :( So James went home to take care of the dog, and get some things... Emerson and I soon went into the room where we would be staying :) James hurried back and it was just a night of waking up every 3hrs and feeding him, and weighing him.

The next day it was pretty much the same as before...weighing him and feeding him. When we met with the Doctors they said just feed him every three hours and under 30min. They felt like he was eating too often and for too long and that he was burning too many calories. So that is what we did! It was a boring day..we had Maggie, Sam and James mom visit and bring us things :) Which was so nice! Then it was just waiting time till 9pm to see how much he gained! It was 9pm and James had left the hospital to go get some clothes ( since Emerson spit up all the formula on him) But we weighed him and he gained 3 ounces!!!! He was only suppose to gain one ounce!So just one more night at the hospital!!!

I am so grateful for prayer and for everyone that had us in their thoughts and prayers!

Another Shower!

My friend Rozemary threw a baby shower for Emerson after he was born! It was nice having my mom to be there for it!It was nice and small, and he was very good for it :) He ate and slept :) We had some great desserts and punch! Thanks for everyone that was able to come!

Emerson's Baby Blessing

What a special day....In our church, we don’t have infant baptism, but we have baby blessings. It’s a priesthood ordinance that usually fathers perform. A group of priesthood holders will form a circle while they hold him and the dad will officially give them the name that they will be known by and then they are blessed with wonderful things. For example, they might be blessed with good health, to have a strong testimony of the Savior, to be charitable, to marry in the temple someday, or told of special gifts that they have.

It was so nice to have family and friends at his blessing!Emerson did so well! He was barley two weeks old, but we wanted to do it while my parents were still visiting!What an amazing day!

Emerson's First Bath

Today was Emerson's first official bath! He likes it if the water is warm and if you put the washcloth on his belly :) I was super scared to give him a bath...but it wasnt too bad! He is just so tiny!

My Parents Visit!

My Parents came Christmas Day and stayed for 18days! I have never had 18 days go so quickly...by the time they left I really felt like they were here for a weekend! I think I was so out of it for almost the whole time they were visiting! I lived on my couch...I could hardly move! The recovery for a c-section was a lot harder than I would have ever expected! I couldnt even sleep in my bed for the first month ( It didnt help that my bed is super tall...but the only thing that was comfortable was to sit up sleeping)

It was so nice having my parents helping...It was nice to have them make and bring every meal to me. It was great having them walk Emerson and rock him, since it hurt me to. They changed his diapers...did all his laundry ( which was over 6 loads - from all the new clothes and all the ones I never washed) I am just so grateful for all the help they were! I hope next time they visit it could be a more fun one! They did have fun by themselves..I think my mom made more socks in the time she was visiting than she does in a year! They had so much fun playing scrabble slam every night and they were able to go out too! They also let me go out a few times with James and Sam! How great it is ...just going to the store :)

I am so grateful for the time they spent with us! It was so nice to have them take care of me and help with Emerson!

Christmas Day!

We woke up this morning with our little bundle of joy! I dont think you realize how long it takes to get ready with a newborn :) Feed the baby, dress him, get his bags packed...spend a second to get yourself ready...then get the baby in the car seat!

We got ready and were almost on time for Christmas at James Mom's and Dans! Emerson was dressed as santa looking cute as ever!It was so nice to spend Christmas with family....it is hard not having my family close so it is so nice having family and friends that are always there for me!

So Christmas morning we had breakfast with James family...it is so fun having all his brothers and sisters and their kids...and on top of it all of his step brothers and step sister with their families! It makes for a fun time!

This year we did a white elephant gift exchange and it is always fun! We ended up getting pass the popcorn game and James got a utility knife and bullets! Emerson got some cute outfits from Tad and Hilary and James mom and Dan!

Later in the day we took a nap..and went home to clean up and relax.

My parents flew in and got in around 9pm. James dad went and picked them up! We were so excited for them to come and meet little Emerson!

Once they got to our house they met Emerson and then we started opening Christmas presents! It didnt last too long Emerson was hungry and my parents got sleepy.....

So the day after Christmas...we had Christmas with my mom and dad!Our house got filled with lots of gifts for Emerson...from my parents, Gideon and Pam, My grandparents, and all my aunts and uncles, and my cousin Rob and Deanna! Thank you everyone!!

This year for Christmas Eve it was so special to have our little one here with us! We left the hospital with Emerson that late afternoon! That night James sister Jenny and the kids came over and made us dinner :)

After 23 hours of labor...I started having contractions at 3am on Sunday the 20th! My due date...after a long day at the hospital I started pushing at 11pm and pushed for 2 hours. Then he wasnt coming out so we had to have an emergency c - section... which I was able to feel it all! So lots of numbing medicine! At 1:56 am on Monday the 21st. Emerson James Wagner was welcomed in the world!Emerson was 8lbs 10 oz and was 21 inches long. It was so great to have a room full while I was going through labor and pushing! I am so greatful for great friends and family!! Thank you Sam & Jeremy, Maggie,Jenny and James for being there for me all day!!!

Baby Shower

So today was my baby shower!! Even though we had to change the location at the last minute due to Emory's burning down :( It turned out so well!! I had so many people come and celebrate with me! I got so many great things for the baby!! I am starting to feel prepared!!! Crazy!! 4 weeks to go!!!!

Excited for my other shower in January when my mom comes! Too many good friends and family! So we had to split it up!!! But it will be so nice for my mom to be there for part of it!

Halloween 2009

Wow How fast the time flies by!!! So much going on..but that just means the baby will be coming quicker!! So this year is Christophers 25th Birthday! So we wanted to have a little party for him! Since his birthday is on Halloween! Easy thing to do!!!

We were getting ready to decorate the night before...yes the night before :P But we went into our shed and there were 100's of killer bees!!!So after 7 cans of spray we got one of our containers of decorations out :) We went off to go buy decorations!! And we made out!!!

So we decorated our house the day of Halloween :) Didnt have time to carve pumpkins...and we found out one got stolen :( ( It was Sam's too sad)

We had a house full of friends and family! It was a blast getting everyone together!!!! We just love parties!! Thank you everyone who came!!!

So it is a late start this year! My house dosent even have a halloween decoration up! And we are just getting our pumpkins :) Well I guess we have an excuse! We have been in Germany for most of the month...then I have a friends baby shower at my house...and I figured it would be nice not to have it look all Creepy :)

So today- Maggie, Casey, and Axel .....Sam, Jeremy, and Landon ...and us! Decided to go to the pumpkin farm! I love going to this farm since there is always so much to do and they have a great selection of pumpkins! The kids loved the animal farm :) And us girls loved the gift shop....yes I know I am crazy! But they had the perfect little table for the nursery there!! I just loved it! And things are so cheap there! Sam even found the cutest costume for Landon! So we all found pumpkins....and had some good cider too!! What a fun day!!

Now time to hurry home and help get ready for Rozemary's Baby Shower!!!

Last day in Germany

Today was the last day we were in Germany. We started the day out with breakfast...packing.. and getting ready! We went to a horse and tackle store! My mom wanted to get an outfit for her dog :) And we needed to get fufu a toy! Plus there was a jacket I really wanted...and wanted to look at it...but it is kind of hard being 8 months pregnant finding a jacket to fit after :) So after we went to the store, we went on a little walk...it was really neat because it was like a wild animal farm! It had deer, boars, elk, and wild birds! It was fun! Once we got back to their house, I had to do some work :) And then we had dinner on a raclette grill!! Yumm!! It was so good!!I want to buy one now!!!

We had such an amazing time! It will be hard to go home...but nice at the same time! It is good to get back to real life...but it is so nice visiting with family!!! Now hopefully they will all visit soon!!

Neuschwanstein

Today was our last day at the resort, we said by to my uncle Reinhardt and his wife Petra and their kids....then we went to the castle Neuschwanstein! It was a perfect day to go since it was so beautiful outside! Once we got there, we got our tickets then waited in line for a carriage to take us up to the top of the castle! It was fun being able to go...but we felt so bad for these horses taking us up such a steep mountain in the cold weather! We finally got up to the top of the mountain and had to rush before our tour started. It was a nice tour, shorter than I remember it last time! But it was still very neat!! They dont let you take pictures inside!But there are ton online! After we got done with the tour, my Mom, Wolf Dieter, James and I decided to walk down the mountain...it was a nice walk...and we didnt have to feel bad for the horses :) And we still beat them :) After the rest of the family got to the bottom, we then went to go get some lunch! Afterwards, it was time to say bye to Oma and Opa :( It is always hard since we dont get to see each other too often! Opa said that they will come to Seattle in two years! Then we are going back in 4 years for their anniversary!

Schlossanger Alp Berhotel OCTOBER 17-18

We left my Aunt and Uncles early to head up to the Alps! We woke up with snow on the ground...but thought it may melt. It continued to snow and on our way to the Alps it continued stronger.We were just getting closer to the resort....and we were driving up this mountain that was rather windy....but the car wouldnt move anymore! So my uncle was going to wait to get help to move it while we walked to the resort! It was a fun little adventure! Once we got to the top it was just such a beautiful view!! This was the perfect ending to our vacation!

We got into the resort after playing in the snow for a bit and met up with my Grandparents and my other Aunt and Uncle and their kids! Once we all got situated and put our things in our rooms we met in the downstairs and started the day out with drinks...and cheers to Family and some amazing soup!!!

We enjoyed some time talking..sharing pictures..and playing outside! Then it was time to go to the top of the mountain and have some cake at a restaurant that overlooked the Alps and the different castles in the area! The restaurant had some amazing desserts...cakes...icecream...hotchocolates...It was so good!

We went back down the windy mountain and got back to the resort, had some time to relax then got ready for my Oma's Birthday dinner!

My Oma's dinner was a very big occasion! It was such a fancy dinner made by a top chef! All the courses were amazing! It was nice being able to spend time with the family and catch up! My Aunt and Uncle got a laptop for my Oma! She was so excited! Now they are able to Facebook!!! My mom made my Oma this amazing quilt!! It was a great night!! After the kids were in bed we went back to the room where we started and enjoyed talking and drinks.

München

Today we headed out to München! We drove all over the city so we could get a feel for the area. There is so much History and so much to do! You could spend just a week there! Once we parked we went to The Residence ( a very unique museum) It was neat to see all the history, murals, dishes, jewelry and just how people once lived.We were able to listen to the tour in English so we were able to understand everything..... After the museum we went to this little restaurant for dessert! I remember when I went there a few years ago...because there was a lady in red sitting in the front window- not this time! They had the most amazing desserts and good hot chocolate! We went out and toured more of the city and did some more shopping! The we stopped by the Hofbräuhaus and were able to take some pictures and buy some souvenirs! We went to eat across the street at this yummy restaurant!! It was such a fun day!!!

Wolf Dieter and Erikas House!

We were able to stay with my aunt and uncle, my uncle works a lot so when we got up that morning he was already at work...we spent a little bit of time with my aunt before she had to leave to go riding. My cousin Theri didnt want to go to school so we spent the time that Amelie was in school with him!He is so adorable and such a ham! He is such a happy little boy that loves to play..he loves gurkens- cucumbers :) Once Amelie and Erika got home we headed out for a day of shopping! We went to this huge store..that had a fun area for kids! Then we went to a huge mall...it was a ton of fun! After some shopping my uncle met us, and we got some icecream and then went to this amazing restaurant for dinner! It was a fun day!

So today was our last day with the grandparents...but we will see them in a few days! After we packed our bags and got ready we were off to the train station! We had to take two trains to get to München! It was a nice train ride! Very comfy seats and beautiful views! The only hard parts were transferring on the trains with all of our luggage!!! Once we got to my aunts and uncles...It started SNOWING!!! Yay!! It was so beautiful! We tried to get some pictures..but they didnt turn out so great. My aunt picked us up...It was so nice they even rented a bigger car so they could fit the three of us and their kids in the car! We got to their house and it is so beautiful!I wish I took pictures of it!!! We had an amazing dinner and went to sleep :)

So today was our last full day with my grandparents.... So we enjoyed walking around town! Eating of course! Then went to the grocery store again for some last minute shopping for more chocolate!!!! Pforzheim Second Trip!!

So before we left for München we needed to fill our suitcases some more!!! We took a bus and spent the day in Pforzheim! We went back to most of the same places!! We got this amazing sandwich again!! I would go there just for it!!! Then we shopped some more!! And filled our bags with goodies!!!What a fun day!!!!

Black Forrest Trip

Today we went on an all day trip through the black forrest! It really is so huge! My grandparents live right next to it.... but It can more than a day just to go through it!! The views were so beautiful! We only got out of the car a few times..So we dont have too many pictures! But it was amazing! My grandparents took us to this great restaurant with an amazing view...and the most beautiful horses that are only in that region! After we got done eating we continued our drive...my grandfather did get a little lost....but at least we got to enjoy the view!

Flohmarkt- Ellemendingen

Today we woke up and had breakfast...and played games! We then got ready to go to the childrens Flohmarkt ( similar to a garage sale) We got on a bus then headed out! It started pouring... but James and my mom were still ready to go with me ( They new if not I would throw a fit) We got off the bus and it wasnt where my mom thought it was so we asked this guy at a store and he told us where we could find one! We got there and it was pouring! But there were a ton of people! The things were a lot higher in cost then we would find here for buying used....but it was still fun! I filled my backpack!!! After getting basically pushed over buy crazed people...we got out of there ( James and my mom were happy) The rain let up ...and we walked around town! It was a fun day! Well I know I enjoyed it!!!!

Bad Herrenalb

Today we had our normal beginning of the day :) We had breakfast..had a lunch..then some amazing dessert!! Then we went out touring... well first we went to the grocery store! And filled up our suitcases!!!! Afterwards we went to this wonderful little town Bad Herrenalb, and were able to learn all about the town and see some beautiful sites! Once we got done...we went back to my grandparents and played games!!

Neuenbuerg

Today we were able to go on a little walk around the town where my grandparents live...then after lunch we went to Neuenbuerg. Neuenberg was a beautiful town and had a lot of family history in it! In the town there was the church where my grandparents were married, and my mom was baptized in. Then we went up to a castle where my great great grandfather used to watch for intruders to come to the castle in the watchtower. There was so much history in this castle it was so neat! And such a beautiful view! You were able to see the whole village! On the walk down from the castle...connected there was a piece of property that my great grandfather used to own : He was a beekeeper and had his buisness there. When my mother was younger she would go there and help out. When we walked into the town there was my grandfathers uncles bar...and all the different things from the day were all a neat reminder of what makes up our families crest!

Pforzheim

Today we ventured out without my grandparents... we went to the city Pforzheim! It was a fun little bus ride! It was such beautiful scenery! It was a nice day out....a good day for shopping!!! We ate the most amazing lunch and had some amazing icecream after!! We went to lots of stores and bought way too much stuff! It was such a fun trip!

** Even when James was taking video ....and this Russian guy came running up to him yelling in german!James then pointed to my mom trying to say he didnt speak german. My mom spoke to the Russian man- he was upset that James got a picture of him! LOL! Even though he wasnt even taking pictures...they tried to calm him down- he was very upset! Too bad James didnt keep taking video! It was hilarious!!

Today was our second day! It was my Opas birthday! So we started the day out with his birthday breakfast! Then we let him open his presents!! He went down to the horses and we went on a little walk.... soon after we got back my moms Aunt came over and we got to spend sometime with her before she left for Japan! We then had my Opas favorite lunch! Then we went to this restaurant for cake! ( I did have to get some work done...so i paid 8 euros to get the internet!)

After cake, we went to the fish hatchery and got dinner!

Germany!!! The airport...and getting there!

So it is time for us to leave to Germany! We are all packed an ready!!! Ready for our long flight!! I am so excited though! Once we get to Atlanta...we get to see my mom! And then another long flight to Germany!!!

We left our house at 3am! Went to the airport and got all checked in! Very sleepy! We were all ready to go...and our flight left at 6am! It was nice having movies on the flight...James enjoyed it! This flight was pretty good 6hrs- a little cramped ( the lady next to me didnt fit in her seat :( and James was on the other side of me...so a little smooshed!)

Once we got to Atlanta.... we met my mom at our gate! James had fun trying to video tape it! We went and got lunch and caught up!!! She was excited to see my belly!!

We then got ready for our 10 hr flight to Frankfurt Germany!!

This flight was nice and roomy! Having my mom and James on each side on me made it enjoyable! We had our own tvs in each seat! And had lots of options of different movies! And they were all free!!! It was a good flight...the baby moved a lot! But it was good!

We got to Germany...went through customs- so easy!!! Then we got our luggage...and waited for my grandparents to pick us up!! ( They were a little lost...so after waiting awhile..we called them and they found us!)

We went to breakfast and it was yummy! Then we got on the Autobahn...and headed to where they live!

It was a long drive being pregnant and being in a car with three adults in the back! I drank a little too much water..so we had to stop before we got to where they lived...and I had to go in the woods!

We stopped in this little town and got some things from the bakery!! YUMM!!!

* It was early when we got to their house so we ate....and got settled in...

James 27th Birthday! Cereal Party!!!

For James Birthday...he had lots of little celebrations! Most of them late :)

He wanted to have his friends over!! So we did a cereal party! We had cereal and watched movies! It is always a bunch of fun getting together with friends!

Kite Festival and Astoria

James and I made it our little tradition to go to the kite festival every year! It is fun to go camping..have fair food...and go to the beach! This year Sam, Jeremy and Landon joined in on our traditon!! Sam even went camping!! Landon was such a little trooper!! He even let fufu sleep in his car seat with him!

Once we got to Longbeach we set up our tent! Then we went into town and went to the festival! We had dinner...then waited for the fireworks....they were a little late..we kept saying 5 more minutes...and right before we left they went off :)

We got back and had a fire....and of course smores!

Then the next day we enjoyed breakfast...and went and got hot chocolate...then we ventured out to Astoria..went to see the Goonies house! Went to a little restaurant then went to a farmers market!!! It was such a fun day!

It was a fun little trip and hopefully Sam and Jeremy want to camp again :)

James 27th Birthday!

So this year we have been doing lots of fun things before the baby comes!! For James birthday we both had the day off ...and it was a beautiful day we decided to go on a ferry ride to Friday Harbour! It is so much fun just taking the ferry and seeing the beautiful views! On the way we even saw a few seals! Once we got to Friday Harbour we went around and looked at all the little shops! We then went to this yummy restaurant Downriggers!

Montana/Wyoming/Idaho/Oregon Trip

One of my best friends Lauren was going to Yellowstone to stay in a cabin in Idaho, and invited James and I to stay! We took some time off work and drove the 12 hours ( a lot longer than that for us getting there) each way to stay for a long weekend! When we got there it was great weather! We were able to go into town, do some shopping then have some great food! The next day we were in town, went through Yellowstone - planned on seeing Old Faithful but since Obama was there it ruined our dream ( the second time we went to see old faithful in 6 months...one day!!!) After turning around and going the opposite way of Obama we found some other fun places to go to! We then went on a rafting trip and were able to see some cool wildlife!! We enjoyed the town some more and had such a fun trip!!!!

This summer has been fun being able to go to garage sales! I haven't been able to go since I already have my house all decorated and dont need to buy more for it! But now since we have the baby coming I have been going as much as possible!!! Here are a few pictures of the times I have gone!!!

Here is a picture of my first garage sales with Allison!! It was the "Motherhood of all Garage Sales" and the name sure said it all!!!! It was by far the best one I have ever been to and will be looking out for it next year!!!!

So much has been going on....and with work being busy....then our house keeping us busy...Leaves no time to blog! We are finally to the point where we can take a break for a bit! Well not be as busy as we have been and be able to sit down instead of just passing out from being exhausted!!

So we were so busy for so long and now we need a break! We want to start hanging out with friends again and have a life! So what is the best way to do that!! Set a date! Whether it is a month away! Just pick a date and go for it!!It really works!!!

One Year already!

It is crazy to think that one year ago we were sealed in the temple for time and all eternity! It is so amazing at the great blessings it brings into your lives once you make that sacred covenant! It was such an amazing day and one we will always remember!

A lot has happened in one year!
We were able to purchase a home.... Then we found out we are expecting our first child!
It has been quite the adventure! We are always busy doing new things- I think that is why the time flew so quickly! It has been a great year though and I cant wait for more!!!!

So for our anniversary we decided to do something small since we have our BIG trip coming up in October! We took the weekend off and went up to Ocean Shores! The first day we went camping! We seriously got the best spot at the camp ground! It was right on the water...and was so amazing!!! ( The guy that I called said he gave us the "honeymoon spot") It was a bit cooler than it was in Seattle...So we werent to prepared :) We were kind of glad that we were only camping for one night!

Friday- We got to our campsite! Set up!Went on the beach! Went in to town and bought some supplies! Then we went to this amazing little mexican restraunt! Then we fed fufu some leftovers :) And got back to our site and made some smores!!

Saturday- We woke up early :) Took a walk on the beach! Went to go get some hot chocolate and breakfast in town!Then we went back to the campground started to pack up! Then went on a long drive and found this secluded beach front...took a long walk! Then we drove to our hotel and hung out in town for a bit! Got into our hotel..got ready for the day! Then took fufu to the groomers so we could have a break without her! Then we went shopping! Had lunch! Then rented mope heads! Afterwards we got fufu ...got a kite relaxed on the beach...then took a break and watched some movies in our hotel! Got dinner and that was the day!

Sunday- we checked out! Hung out on the beach and enjoyed our last day!!

It was a great trip.....Traffic wasnt fun at all!! Took 6 hours each way instead of the three! But it was a great trip and a great way to celebrate!

So Here are just a few pictures! I have been so bad lately with remembering my camera! It died right after these pictures!! I will try to be better!

It was such a busy day doing last minute things- like buying all the food :) Then afterwards one of my bestfriends stopped by from Utah for a few with her brother! It was nice to visit....then it was time for the party!!!!

We had a great turn out for our party! And I am so grateful for all those who came!It was such a great day out... a little warm- But that has been Seattle weather this year!

We had different spurts of people come all through out the night! Right after a lot of people left...a bunch of people from the Singles Ward came! Then after they left Maggie and Casey came back! It was a long fun day!

4th of July

4th of July was a great day!

We were able to go to James sisters house.... They had a bunch of people over for a pickleball tournament!

He got all dressed up for the occasion! We loved the shorts ;)

After we went to lowes...And bought a grill!!! Yay!! I am now in heaven!! I can grill steak everyday!!!! Yumm!!! And of course some more plants too!!

Then we went back to our house! Did I mention we are putting in my salon??? I dont think so! Well we are re-doing our laundry room! Took out a door! Put in all new plumbing! Put in a false wall! My new hair sink!! So our free time is going into this...with some help from our friend Janzen and James Dad!!!

Once we got done working on the house we went to Lynnwood High School for Fireworks....It has been our tradition and this will be the last year there :( We met up with the usual ....Sam and Jeremy and now baby Landon! Sams family! Steve! And James sister and kids!! Here are a few pictures from the fun night!!!

Our Projects

Here is a picture of our house Before we moved in....Notice all the ugly bushes....The gross color Blue...and the roof!!!

Here is an after picture of the new color we painted it :) Green! And our lovely new roof! And Minus our jungle - Now you can see our house!

Here is a day we spent rototilling - James is doing a great job!! It was a ton of work! Next we planted grass!

Here was an over grown tree and plants where these huge ugly plants were! Thanks to James car...it barely pulled them out! Looks better now!

Here is a picture of our newly painted house...our new grass and garden!!!

So you would think that it wasnt a lot of work to do this....Well! Boy was I wrong!!! I dont think I have ever worked so hard in my life!!

1. James mom came over and helped me get rid of half the plants......and she pulled out all the old bricks! (All week project)

2. James sister and kids came over and we removed the rest of the plants!! James car helped pull them out too :) Then we tried to rototill it....but we broke it!! So then we tried the next weekend! ( Weekend)

3. We got a rototiller thanks to Jeremy! We rototilled the yard! Then went to lowes and bought all the things to plant grass!Went to James sisters house and borrowed a roller...then came back and finished planting grass seed!!!! (Another weekend)

4. Waited for the grass to sprout....then got a container of soil (about a 20 foot container filled with more than 8 yards of soil....Tons of wheel borrows full!!) Then we took natural rocks from the backyard....filled it in with soil....then planted our plants!! ( Another whole weekend...and more dirt to shovel)

So this little project was exhausting!! Then we started more!!!

So we are three months along! Yay!! We are due December 24th! We arent finding out what we are having but have names!

Here is a picture from when we found out! We were surprised! We just started trying then were not going to try for the month of March since James was having surgery.....but it happened! And we are so excited! ( Even though James thinks it is the mail mans )

Here is a picture of the baby at 9 weeks! I had to get an ultra sound since the Dr. couldn't find the babies heart beat! But it was there!!!! Here is our little critter!

It is official!! We are Homeowners!We signed today!!!

It was such an easy decision! We found it the first day that we looked! March 26th! Then made an offer the next day!!!!!We didnt want to tell anyone till it was official! Thank goodness we made that decision because it was probably one of the worst experiences we have had....One thing after another! But it will be worth it!

We have had the best Realtor!!Kathi Ogle! She has been so great and has done so much for us!!! It has been so much work for her....probably way more than she ever imagined on what should have been such an easy transaction.

I had such a great trip in Ohio! Went home for a five days...and it was so nice! As soon as I got there we went to Kalahari Indoor Waterpark resort! We went for my dads 50th birthday! And it was my brothers birthday too!!After two days there! My mom,dad,and I went on a Ferry Ride to Putt in Bay....it was a nice little adventure! Then we rushed back to my brother and his wifes house and had a bbq!

The next day! We went to my favorite! Chagrin Falls..... We went shopping at all my favorite stores! Then we went to yours truly!! Yumm!!! Then to Aurora Farms! Then we got back and Lauren and I went to Gabes!! And of course Chipotle!

The next day....we just relaxed and enjoyed the day! Then back to my Hubby and real life!!!!

A great Birthday

Today was a great day! Started the day off relaxing! Then went out with Maggie to go get facials! Afterwards we went to our house and hung out....Then had to have an inspection on the house we were buying! Then we went to eat!!! Yumm!!!Back to our house.....then hung out watched movies...had some friends stop by and got some great gifts!!! Then went out to Red Robin at the last min with Casey, Maggie and Axel! It was a fun day!

Sorry for not posting in awhile!But a lot has been going on!!! James is starting to heal and soon will be able to start to walk again (limp around) ! There will be lots of updates coming soon!! Be patient! I have been working,taking care of James, and then in all my extra time doing hair ( 5 days a week! on top of everything else!) Thank goodness for keeping busy!!!!

Our bumb weekend....

So our weekend has started out with me.....
Going to the dentist! I had this feeling come to me that I needed to get my teeth taken care of....And I had one of my friends Rozemary take me last week to an appointment....where I came to find out I needed more than what I wanted...after a bit of an emotional breakdown...We all came to a conclusion! I needed to have two crowns right away and my one wisdom tooth pulled and the tooth next to it pulled (since the wisdom tooth broke it so bad) Well thank goodness I have a great dentist who puts up with me! He even got me in right away- since I have to do things like that asap!
So my appointment was suppose to be friday on the dentists day off...but it moved to Thursday which turned out great!!! My appointment went so well ( way better than last time) And he did such a great job!! ( I would take pictures but I am little swollen)

So now to my poor hubby!!
We had to be at Evergreen at 7:15 am! Then he had to get all checked in! The doctor,nurse, and anesthesiologist were so great and informative!! Here are some pics before surgery!

He said once he got in the anesthesiologist said " say goodnight" and then James was out like a light! When I came to get him he was so out of it....he was so clingy which I love!! The nurse went over everything...and then we got ready to leave!

Once we got into the car...his knee started to bleed a little bit....so the nurse actually got in the car too! And started to check on it!! They really were great! They sent us home with some guaze and it started bleeding a little more....

He had his machine delivered so it will move his knee! The guy who came over was great! James needs to be using the machine for 6+ hours a day his first week off!

So all in all...James is sore!And will be a lot worse tomorrow! He is still numb now....and hopefully it will last longer than it is suppose to!

It was so nice to have James mom and Jaiden stop by!And James dad and his best friend Jeremy came and gave him a blessing!!

*James needs to be off of work for a week
* He has to use the machine for 6+ hours a day for a week!
* He will need to use crutches for a minimum of 3 weeks!
And will take about 6 months for it to heal!

8 months already!!!

James and I have been married for Eight months!! Wow time flies by!!! Probably because it has been so great!

We definitely keep busy and always have something going on! It has been a little less busy since James isnt able to go to the gym lately, or go to basketball twice a week!

We can't wait for this summer and all the little trips we have planned along with all the fun things there are to do outside!!! Yay for Seattle!!!!

Birch Bay- YW retreat!

All the young woman in our ward got to go out of town for 24hours! It seems like not a whole lot of time, but it was a nice little vacation! It was such a perfect day and a ton of fun! The girls had a friday off of school so we took advantage! We left early in the morning and went up to Birch Bay to the Petek's cabin! We started off by having lunch..then played some darts...then we had time to work on Personal Progress....then we got to go to the beach!! Afterwards we went to the cabin and were able to do a fun project while some of the group worked on dinner! After dinner it was time by the fire....and smores of course!!! Then movies and games!! It was a fun little trip!!

Rosco was such a great and loving dog!I have had him since he was 8 weeks old, I got him in Washington DC and he has been with me almost everyday since he was born!He has been to probably more states than most that read our blog! He loved road trips, playing outside, wearing clothes, playing fetch, and the list goes on~
Recently we have found out that besides not being fond of James, or fufu....he is not very fond of little kids (ecsp those that are around the age of one) He just barks and barks and likes to bite! So that posed a problem to James and I.
So,we talked about it and James was so great about it!He didnt even tell me I needed to get rid of him....he just let me do what I needed to do!
I was not planning on finding him a home right away...but I wanted to before we start to have kids so it makes it easier on me.After talking to my friend Sally....I started looking on craigslist and then I found an ad for a daughter looking for another companion for her father! He was having his 69th birthday, celebrating life after having cancer, and celebrating being sober for 28 years! I talked to him on the phone, and we set up a day to meet him....I told him on the phone that we just wanted to meet him and see how it went.....

We took him to his house and Rosco instantly loved it! He loved him and his little chihuahua! We left to think about the decision we were making and ran to the store to get some last minute things! Rosco didnt even care that we left...James and I ran and got some things and got back and we both felt so much peace! We gave him a new home and felt so much peace about it! I was so worried fufu would be upset but honestly she is happier than ever!!! She actually spends time with us and loves going on more walks and sleeps in our bed now!!! We have gotten updates on rosco and he is doing better than ever!!!

March is a good month for Birthdays in our family!So it was time to Celebrate!!!

Lena and Art's Birthday were both on the same week! Lena was so kind to have a joint celebration with Art on her very own birthday!! It was nice to get everyone together! Here our some pictures from our Red Robin trip!!

Lena even got some carmel syrup on her sundae (since she dosent like chocolate) And of course the free birthday burgers are great!!!

And Happy Birthday to Gideon on the East coast..even though we didnt get to spend it with him! I will get to visit soon!!!

Two Years have gone by quick!!Yes we still celebrate it!!Why not???

Today James and I got to celebrate our two years by going to go see the LION KING!! It was so amazing and I would recommend it to anyone!!It was so neat to see all the different costumes and how well they were able to follow the movie! Spa, Gold Mine Tour- what a day!!

Today we started off our day with James getting a massage and me a haircut!!It was nice to just be able to relax!! After the pampering we decided to take some pictures then went to a Gold Mine Tour!

The Gold Mine tour was fun it was neat to be under the mountain and see real Gold!We even had to wear the construction hat and carry a flashlight!! It was fun!!

Then we were off on our way to go back to Seattle!!!!(well after making James stop at the 7th Target on our trip)

Tubbing,Learning how to snowboard, & Waterpark!!

So today we decided we were going to go tubing!It was such a beautiful day and we wanted to spend as much of it outside that we could!!!We took the world's longest gondola up to the top of silver mountain (which was such a beautiful..but as James would say LONG! ride) Then once we got off I realized I was dressed to warm :)It was not cold at all!We went tubing but didnt last to long :)

Then James and I decided that since it was such a great day we should take advantage!So he taught me how to snowboard!!With his help and the help of an instructor I was able to go up and down the mountain myself without falling!!It did take a little while...for now I do enjoy skiing more- but probably because I know how too!!

After we got done on the mountain we went back and relaxed!Then we went to the waterpark!!It was a ton of fun (It was just hard because the last indoor waterpark was better...well just a bit bigger with a wave pool!But this one was good minus the pool)

Going to the resort!!!

James and I got to relax and sleep in....then we went to the Idaho Falls Temple ( It was so beautiful!)

We then started driving to the resort we were staying at in Kellogg Idaho! It was another long trip but fun!We got to drive through Montana which was such a beautiful state ( well at least the part we drove through) We stopped in Missula and James got another knife :) His second on the trip!Then we headed the rest of the way! We got to the resort and were so confused by all the time changes!!Once we got there we went to our room explored the resort...and later on went in the roof top hot tub!! It was a nice end to a long day!!!

Today we woke up and decided to drive to Yellowstone!!We drove past Rexburg,and up through the Montana into Wyoming! It was very senic ride...a little snowy! We were planning on driving through Yellowstone...but to our suprise- You can't drive in Yellowstone in the winter. So we went around the little town shopping and then decided to go snowmobiling!!!! James needed to rent snowclothes since they were at our hotel and the place had it all!!!

We went snowmobiling on this amazing trail!It was so neat because on the trail we ended up in Montana,Idaho, and Wyoming!!James phone didnt know what time zone it was on!!

It was a fun little adventure!Afterwards we ate in town and then headed back to Idaho Falls!

We went shopping for some things and got a cute outfit for Keaton!!Andre and Chelsea meet us at our hotel and we went to this restraunt near it!Afterwards we went hot tubbing!! Such a fun night..went by too fast!They need to move to Washington!!!

Vacation Time!!!

So James and I decided to go on a ski trip...But that changed a little when he tore his ACL :( We changed it up a bit! And decided to shorten our stay at the resort and go visit some friends and head up to Yellowstone!!! So here we start our Journey!!!

We left on Tuesday bright and early!! 4:38am!!!I started off driving and drove for a few hours...James then took over and I drove the rest of the trip! We got to Blackfoot in just about 12 hours!!It was such a beautiful drive!And a ton of fun!!

We got to Chelsea and Andre's house and visited with Chelsea and her family!!We got to meet Baby Keaton!!He is so adorable!! After we visited for awhile we drove to our hotel in Idaho Falls and went to Applebees!!!

We had the best view from our room- The Idaho Falls Temple!!

So we have been out of the loop! We left off on Season 5 of 24 .....and in the last week we have been hermits! The only people that see us are at work, at the gym and the guys at blockbuster!!!

We are trying to catch up!!It is now season 7 and we got cable! Yes I refused for so long....But we got it!! We got a good deal from James work (Chase) and we couldnt pass it up! So now we have a dvr so I dont have to run home from the gym to watch our show!

So for 24! We finished season 5 and 6 in a week!!And today we have started season 7!!! We are crazy but we couldnt stop!! Lots of late nights!

So it was nice to have my dad here!He was able to stay here for Two weeks! We were able to do some fun things and spend some quality time together!We were able to watch a few of James games,watch movies,go on little trips....It was also nice to come home and not have to cook :) And have fresh bread and cookies!!!

While he was visiting we kept busy with normal everyday life....working,going to the gym, I had lots of hair to do, but we still were able to balance everything!

On his last day here we went to Bahama Breeze!! James and my favorite restraunt!!!

Poor James

So after a year and a half James finally made an appointment to get his ankle checked out since it is still swollen from playing basketball.The Dr. said he needed an MRI so today was the day he had to go. He has never had an MRI and it was hard for him. It was a half an hour of being completely still..which he can't do. So he will find out as soon as the Dr. gets back in town what the results are!!

So later that night...since he was still able to play basketball,we went to his game!It was the Fourth Quarter and James was running and his knee popped!!! He was in too much pain to finish playing,so we left. We picked up a movie so he could have something to watch....and by the time he got home and he started icing it...It started swelling.

A week goes by and it is still sore.....He had a Doctor appointment when he finally could get in....The Doctor thinks he tore his ACL - but James now has to get an MRI on his Ankle....So Wednesday the 4th we will find out!
