The Second day of december!!

On the Second day of December....

I didnt think I could get out of bed ( So I was wondering why I felt like I got hit by a bus....maybe being tackled in football??) So I started off the day by making this fabulous new recipe from my friend Camille!! It is a new crockpot recipe!! Yumm... And I just found out one of my best friends just got home from her mission!!! Then James arrived to take me to church!! Suprisingly it wasnt cancelled!! But it was a great day!! It was my last day of Temple Prep class!! So exciting!! The after church we had a baptism we attended for my new friend Kaitlin!! It was amazing!!! Then we went home for food!!!So glad I thought ahead!!!It was so yummy!!! Then a little while later Sam and Jeremy came over...We made this interesting punch...and some amazing hot chocolate!!! Then made some cookie dough!!! James and I decorated our christmas tree while listening to Christmas music!!! It is perfect!!!

We watched the Nativity story....and paused to make some cut-out sugar cookies!! It was fun...a little messy(maybe more than a little) And they turned out great!!! We finished the movie...Then after Sam and Jeremy left James and I did my familys tradition of the Advent calender and wreath....where we lit on candle since it is the first sunday of the month...and shared stories and read scriptures!! It was a great end to the perfect weekend!!!

The first day of december!!

On the first day of December....
It was the perfect day!!! So the night before my friend Camille came from Kelso,Washington and did my hair!! It looks amazing like always!! So when we do hair we normally do each others....So it always turns into a long night!!
The next morning...we woke up at 7:00am....camille had to go to the mall...And James was coming over at 8!! We had the "turkey bowl" at Huskys Stadium!!

It was so much fun!! We won one game and lost two....but I was sorta glad...I didn't think I could move anymore....After the first game the bishop nearly tackled me...I got turf burn!! Then the second game I twisted my ankle again...then the third I got a fat lip from nearly kissing a guy (lol) and a black and blue knee!! But it was so much fun!! James with his sprained ankle (wich we found out on sunday he shouldn't have played) did just fine:)
Then we stopped at James house to get snow started snowing...and it kept snowing!! We went to Walmart to get a tree was covered outside!! We went home and still snowing!! Sam came over and we went to costco while James relaxed and as we were waiting for Jeremy!! We got pizza (not very smart before going out to dinner work party) Then we were off to get our tree!! We went to a tree farm in Woodinville (around 6pm yes it was dark) It was the most perfect setting if they werent closing early we could have stayed even longer!!! We would have never thought finding a tree in the dark would be fun...but all the snow on the trees made it beautiful!!! It was fun to shake the trees and try to figure out if it would be perfect when we returned home.... So we each found our trees....and cut them down (well the boys did) we helped hold them :)
We got hot apple cider and some mistletoe!! It was just perfect!!! No fake trees for a long time!!
So then we were off to drop me off at my work party....the roads were horrible... but it made it interesting...Good thing James drove!! We had to pass cars going up the hill!!
My party was fun...a little long but worth it!! The most amazing steak!!! YUMMM!!! If you are in washington and need a good quaint little restraunt "Italianissimo" is great!!
Since it was bad out James was waiting for me so I wouldnt have to get a ride he had fun shopping with Sam and Jeremy for 3 hrs!!
It was such a great day!!! Just the start to a perfect weekend!!!

So another year without my family for thanksgiving....

Well it was an amazing day and with great company!! Since James sprained his ankle the night before attempting to play basketball....I had to pick him up after I got some things prepared for thanksgiving! We went to blockbuster...isnt it crazy they are open all day on thanksgiving!! We bought the new die hard and rented license to wed... We ran back to my house and got the sticky rolls, green bean casserole and pumpkin pie....Off to the first house!!

We went to James sister Jenny's house and she had the house full!! She cooked a 26lb turkey!! We got to her house around 12:30 and ate and relaxed!! I read a book that I needed to have read for my bookclub for sunday "the greatest gift" It was a perfect read for thanksgiving!! James got to watch Ratatuille and Die Hard....

Then we went to his moms house and had another thanksgiving around 5:30!! It was great!! The turkey was perfect...I promised I would try everything (wich I would never do) I liked everything but the yams...but if I liked yams I know they would have been great!! My favorite to my suprise was the fruit salad?? I helped her make it and I thought gross!! But it was amazing!! It was frozen cranberries chopped in the food processor 1 cup sugar and soaked in....then one can of drained pineapples...and coolwhip!! It was amazing!!!

After thanksgiving there...we went to my house and every year I normally decorate that night...but not this year!! James and I just realxed and watched license to wed!! It was a great thanksgiving!!

I would reccomend that everyone read "The Ultimate Gift" it is a great book and will make you appreciate things so much!! There is also a movie...but is quite a bit different!!

Time out for couples!! November 9th

This was a fun day!! We all got off of work early and drove to Tacoma!! Traffic wasn't the best..but it was a fun ride!! We got to tacoma and had some mexican food right before...
Then we went to Time out for couples...It was very good!! There were different speakers and Michael & Lynne McLean were the hosts...It was great listening them speak and sing about marriage and the highs and lows of there relationship.

Then we listened to Merrile Boyack and she was hilarious!! She wrote the book" "But, How Do I CHANGE My Spouse?!?" It was great listening to her!!

Next was Richard N. Holzaphel he is an Associate Professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University; he has a few different books but a great one is...."One Heart & One Mind"

Last but not least my favorite!!! Douglas Bringley!! He has written so many great books and he is also a professor at BYU!!

It was a fun night!!!

The next night we went to Red Robyn and Saw Dan in real life (I don't think they want to take me out again...or they will make me promise not to laugh!!)

Halloween 2007
It was our first Haloween together and even though we were boring it was fun!! Well we first started out the Holiday by carving pumpkins in between sessions of General Confrence...along by decorating my house!! The pumpkins turned out great ( we both did them free-hand) But then they died about 2 1/2 weeks later...So sad....

So last Sunday we had our pre-halloween at our friends Sam and Jeremy's! Jeremy made these amazing popcorn balls and homemade cider! Sam made this great pumpkin deseret! Yumm!! It was a tun of fun....Keilah and Steve brought some extra pumpkin carvers...wich was very helpful!!

So Pumpkin got everywhere...our hands turned orange...The pumpkins were suprisingly juicy!
Here are some pics of our creations:

So, that was our pre-Halloween! On Halloween...I got trick or treaters!! About 14!! Yay!! I was suprised but I did have candy...and I have a lot left over! We had our little party since all of us were party poopers....and didnt want to dress up! We were going to watch a scary movie...but watched the illusionist instead along with spider man 3! We had some pizza (thanks james) Some amazing cheese bread (thank you camille for your recipe) some great cookies and albertsons 7 layer dip( i wonder who brought that?) and some more of Jeremys famous cider and Sams amazing pumpkin desert! It was a lot of fun!! Fufu and Rosco loved there costumes...

And we loved seeing some scary faces from the rest of the bunch!
It was a lot of fun!! Maybe next year we will dress up !!!

Life moves quickly!!

So life has been stressful lately....But new and exciting! It has been a year of changes! I have now officially lived in Washington for a year...and it has been a new adventure! I have moved four times (in the state of Washington) since living here and now I have a place to call home! I absolutely love it!! It is perfect! I never could have imagined living here...but it is beautiful! It rains a lot but not as much as people think! So a quick update on life...

Well this past weekend...I went to visit one of my best friends (Camille)in Kelso,Washington (she just moved is about 2 hours away)...and I am no longer a blonde! Well I have some blonde! We stayed up till about 3am doing my hair...and having a ton of fun...So I was so scared but I love it...and suprisingly James does too!!

I have been trying to find a job...even though I have enough...but a real job "a grown up job" ! It was a lot harder than I thought after sending over 75 resumes and countless interviews...I got a job on Tuesday and quit my other job!! I am now an administrative assistant for the owners of a mattress company!! I am so excited!! I started today and it was great and it only took me 15 minutes to get to work...not the normal hour I was use to driving!!

Now I need to get back to cleaning and moving stuff out of my spare room so my friend Megan could move in Saturday!!! Busy Busy!!
